Koh Chang

Koh Chang is Thailand’s second largest island and one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful island, in Thailand.

Koh Chang is a large national park and you find 46 minor islands scattered around the main island Koh Chang. In the middle of the island is untouched rain forest which offers lots of experiences that you don’t find in many other places. If you visit Koh Chang, you should not miss the opportunity to go elephant trekking in the middle of the island. This is trekking like no where else!

Koh Chang offers a wide selection of overnight stays. You can stay inexpensively in one of the town’s many guesthouses or live a little more expensively in one of the island’s many great resorts. The only drawback to be said about Koh Chang is the lack of sand on the beaches. Most of the beaches on Koh Chang have lots of stones.

Koh Chang really does offer a holiday with plenty of experiences and relaxation.

There are several ways of getting to Koh Chang:

To get to the island, you have to go by boat and there are four different ports that sail there. All ferries have their last departure at around 6 pm.
